The bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast had lots of choice. We were happy with the free room upgrade after finding out, just five days before arrival, that the spa area was closed for redevelopment. I’d booked through British Airways and wished they’d told me sooner. The hotel and location otherwise suited us well, especially for the facilities. The AC ran quite warm, and we couldn’t adjust it.

The breakfast had great choices, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Staff were lovely, and both the gym and pool were great. The gym officially opens at 9, but staff were happy to let us in earlier. The treadmill wasn’t available until 9 so nearby guests wouldn’t be disturbed, which was considerate. New York Cafe is close, and the river isn’t far either.

We were more than pleased with our stay. The hotel was lovely and very clean, right in the middle of everything. Rooms were well looked after, the beds were really comfortable, and the breakfast had a wide range of choices to suit everyone.

The restaurant and bar were nice, and I got to try the traditional palinka. My room was pleasant, though fairly basic. The rooftop pool had a fantastic view and was great once I got access. If you book through a third party, check that pool access is included, since it wasn’t automatically honored in my case. They did sort it out eventually.

We were celebrating a birthday and got upgraded to a suite, with a few surprises waiting in the room. The staff were consistently pleasant and keen to help, and welcomed us warmly. The hotel was very clean, with everything feeling new and comfortable. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast a lot.
