We booked well ahead and made it clear that a family member needed medication kept in the room’s freezer. The hotel said beforehand that they could arrange that. On arrival, though, the medication had been misplaced and never put in the freezer, so it spoiled. It’s vital for that family member’s health, and the situation cut our trip short. We had to spend a lot of money to fly home earlier than planned. When we raised what had happened, the staff wouldn’t accept responsibility or offer a refund. The only offer was a cheap room upgrade worth €30, which felt insulting given that their mistake cost us thousands of dollars. They also refused to discuss it with Hotels.com staff. The hotel itself was relatively clean, but the service was beyond incompetent and gave the impression that nobody cared about guests. I’d advise against staying here. They made no effort to take responsibility or address a serious health problem caused by their failure.

The apartment had no basic cleaning supplies, not even dishwasher capsules. For a two-night visit, the receptionist’s suggestion that we buy an entire box of tablets ourselves made little sense. A day before we arrived, we were told the apartment wasn’t “pet friendly,” though that requirement had never been mentioned earlier. We asked Booking for a free cancellation or a change, but the property refused. Since we had no certainty a pet-friendly apartment would be available when we arrived, we travelled worried we might have nowhere to stay. In the end, we had to pay an extra €40. We had booked this place only because the property had confirmed in advance that underground garage parking was available. When we got there, it wasn’t. We spent our first evening looking for a nearby spot, and only the following day were offered parking in a shopping mall.

The panoráma room’s terrace was fantastic, and the room was spotless and smelled lovely. There’s a coffee capsule machine, laundry facilities, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and you’ve got a mall and Lidl nearby. It seems well suited to both short visits and longer stays, including extended work trips. The only small letdown was the kitchen had no salt or oil for cooking. It’s a bit much to buy a whole container for one or two meals, though it wasn’t a real problem. The young man who checked us in was friendly and polite, and the accommodation manager was always reachable on WhatsApp if we needed anything. We’d book again.

Lidl is just downstairs and Corvin mall is right there too, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff were friendly. We got upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom apartment at no charge, and really liked the place. There’s a generous balcony, air-conditioning, and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, including an oven and a Nespresso machine. It would be a great spot for a longer stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.
