We booked three nights at Corvin Point Hostel but left after the first. It was dirty and dusty, with surfaces that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Construction outside the windows made the dust even worse, and the place didn't seem to be maintained regularly. Because of respiratory health concerns, we had to find somewhere else for the remaining two nights. When we asked for a refund for the unused nights, the desk staff referred us to management. Management never replied to our emails, which was frustrating and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this hostel.

I booked two weeks before my Budapest trip, but when I arrived, nobody answered. I lost my money and had to find another hotel. The location was very bad, and the owner was too, since he wouldn't answer the phone. Don't go there. It's a disgrace, and I can't recommend it at all!

The room was clean, and reception was incredibly kind and helpful. For a short stay in Budapest, the location and price are well worth it. The only problem was a leaky shower door. Otherwise, it would've been five stars.

The owner was incredibly hospitable, and the room had everything we needed. It's in a wonderful spot, with bus stops and metro stations nearby. This is the only place I'll choose next time I'm in Budapest!

We arrived just after the 14:00 availability time, around 14:06, and waited outside in the rain. We rang the bell and called their mobile until 14:27, when the dogs in the house started getting agitated. We gave up and began looking for nearby hotels. While we were checking in at another place, this property called. The receptionist said, with an attitude, that the gentleman at reception had only been away for ten minutes to give out a room. Meanwhile, the reception room had been closed and we were left outside with no information. They didn't refund us because the booking was "non-refundable," even though they had left us waiting without telling us anything. Not recommended. Avoid at all costs.
