Crowne Plaza Budapest by IHG

Breakfast was outstanding, and Fiorella was such a gem. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Her customer service was above and beyond, and I’d recommend this place because of her. She’s an absolute asset to this location, give her a raise! The hotel’s close to the train station, so it’s easy to get wherever you want to go, and the staff service was phenomenal. Our room was spacious, with a king bed and two pull-out sofas. The teenagers said the sofa beds weren’t the most comfortable, but they weren’t awful. We could hear a mechanical noise whenever the elevators ran because our room was next to them. It wasn’t loud, but it happened often and was hard to ignore at night when everything else was quiet.

The staff make every stay feel special. They’re so welcoming, always ready to help, and I feel genuinely looked after from the moment I arrive. The hotel is comfortable too, with a warm, relaxing atmosphere. I come back every time I’m in Budapest, and breakfast is a big reason why. There’s a huge selection, the quality is excellent, and it’s a perfect start to the day. Highly recommended!

The Crown Plaza was close to everything, and we walked to lots of places around Budapest. When we needed a ride, Mark and Peter went above and beyond arranging ride shares and taxis. They also shared great tips on places to visit and things to see, and helped make our stay wonderful. The room was comfortable, room service was excellent, the food tasted good, and I slept really well. I had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for a nicer hotel. I hope to visit again soon.

The location made Budapest easy to explore, with the centre and public transport close by. My room was comfortable, spotless, and well cared for, and the team were always welcoming. Péter and Lilla at reception gave me useful recommendations, and Lajos and Diana from the F&B team looked after me throughout my stay. I’m also grateful to the front desk supervisor who got in touch after I accidentally left my passport behind and arranged to have it mailed back. I’d happily return to the Crowne Plaza.
