Dagály Apartments by FirstHost

We felt at home in this modern, well-equipped apartment and were very happy with our stay. My Android had trouble joining the Wi-Fi, probably because of the accent in Dagály, though the Apple devices connected fine.

We had a good long weekend and would happily return. The apartment matched the photos, and its central spot made it easy to get around. A couple of things could have been better: there were no satellite channels, though Netflix and internet were available, and the stairwell entry beeper was tucked inside a box on a light pole secured with a combination bike lock, so it wasn't obvious to find at first. We'd recommend the place.

Getting around to the sights was easy thanks to the metro nearby and the apartment's location. The bathroom handle is loose, and the living room roller shutter needs to be made functional again.

The apartment itself is in a good location, but my stay was dominated by a garage problem. I paid for parking and then had to spend around 1-2 hours trying to get into the garage because the opener didn't work. When I called the 24-hour number, a man apologized and said he was in the party district and couldn't help. I had been told a replacement opener would be left in the apartment, but it wasn't there, and I never got an answer about where it was. There was also confusion over the price. The listing showed €5 per day for the garage, but after booking I was told it had recently gone up to €15. We eventually agreed on €5 per night. On the first night, no garage was available, so I parked on the street, where payment only covered me until 10:00 PM. All that made my daily plans difficult, despite having paid for a garage. The bathroom dispenser was empty, with no liquid soap. With a little more attention, guests could leave much more satisfied. The things people pay for should work.
