Day and Night Hostel

The worst experience ever. The hostel was filthy, absolutely disgusting. I couldn't touch anything. The beds weren't comfortable, and there were no power outlets by the beds. I couldn't take a shower. The people living there were students, and I think some may have been drug sellers. There was no reception and no services. Don't waste your money, spend more and stay at a good hostel.

I’ve stayed in hostels across more than 30 countries, and this was the worst. The place was filthy. The pillows looked like they’d come from a dump, so I used my clothes instead. There was nobody at reception to check me in. Then, around 8:40, the guy in charge woke the whole dorm to collect payment before he left. He came back while I was showering to remind everyone to pay. He wanted cash for my two-night booking. I had no local currency yet, so he asked to hold my passport as security. I said I’d get dressed and go find the money, but he refused because he was leaving right then. I could go on, but I don’t want to waste more time. Don’t stay here.

The location is the only reason I gave it two stars. It’s close to the main tourist attractions. The place itself is old, dark, dirty, and in poor condition. It’s also a student residence, so it always seems to be dirty. If you can find somewhere else nearby, I’d choose that.

The reception area wasn’t very accessible, and the shower was sitting in dirt. The whole place was disgusting and much worse than other hostels I’ve stayed in. It was dirty.
