Dohany Design Apartments

Federico was easy to reach and made us feel welcome throughout our four nights. He shared great Budapest tips and even had plenty of suggestions for our time in Rome. The apartment had all we needed, with a secure setup in a beautiful old building. It's in a lively part of downtown Budapest. I couldn't recommend the place and host more.

Federico was in touch throughout and helped us with suggestions for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs. The night before our arrival, a serious issue came up in the apartment, but he worked hard to find a solution so we wouldn't have to look for somewhere else at short notice. He's a wonderful host, especially if you don't speak English, since he's Italian and easy to communicate with. The apartment is about 50 meters from the Synagogue, right in the center. It was spotless, bright, spacious, and equipped with every comfort. The bed was comfortable, the view looked onto a broad, open street, and the temperature was just right even with the radiators off. There were plants throughout, which made the place even prettier. Our stay was more than pleasant, and I'll contact Federico again when I'm back in Budapest.

The host welcomed us like family and gave us clear, useful advice for getting into the apartment and finding traditional food around the city. Access was simple and convenient. The apartment was clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed. The three of us, two adults and one child, were very comfortable. Its central spot made it easy to explore Budapest on foot or by public transport, and the airport bus stop is just steps away. A fantastic stay, and we'd gladly come again.
