Over five days here, I found it an incredible place. The room was spacious and beautiful, with everything looking new, as if it had been renovated recently. Tourist attractions, restaurants, and even the Danube were all very close, and we could walk to any destination in 10-15 minutes. I can recommend it with confidence.

The bed was broken when we tried to nap after traveling since 4am. A maintenance person came, but it took two hours to fix, so we couldn't sleep and missed our boat trip with Prosecco. We weren't compensated. We then tried to sleep on the sofa bed, which broke too. It had been stapled together, probably as a quick fix for an earlier break, and that wasn't acceptable for what we paid. It was my birthday, and the stay honestly ruined it. Please don't go here! Other things went wrong too. The bathroom door handle was broken, and when we drew the curtains in the morning, the curtain came down. It seemed to be attached with string. The shower floor was dirty, and the WiFi barely worked, so I had to hotspot my phone and got a hefty bill. On the rare occasion the connection did work at first, I connected my phone and woke up to find 80 passwords compromised. At first, as we were settling in, things seemed great. But this was by far the WORST accommodation experience I've had, and I've stayed in many places. I wish I'd checked the Google reviews.

The location was the only good part. The front desk was 20 minutes away by public transport, and customer service was terrible. There were toenails by the bed, a dirty hairbrush stuck in one of the heaters, and no toilet paper or hairdryer. I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

The apartment itself was renovated and generally decent, with two double beds, a fridge, and air conditioning. It could have been cleaner, the shower walls looked rough, and some of the old towels should have been replaced. But getting in was already a hassle: I arrived around 9:30 P.M. without any instructions, so I had to call and buy extra minutes on my phone plan. I never got the WiFi details either. At night the noise was hard to escape. Bars beside the dark, dirty entrance played loud music, and cigarette smoke came in when I left the windows open. With them shut, I could still hear the bars, traffic, the tram that runs overnight, and police cars or ambulances a few times in the middle of the night. For a place rated three stars, it felt more like two.
