Elizabeth Square Residences

We had a lovely meeting with Mr. Sandor, who even offered us some forints for parking while we waited to figure out how to exchange our euros. We registered our documents and got the payment receipt, and that was everything sorted. I’ll definitely come back. The apartment is in a very handy spot for exploring on foot. Bus, tram, and metro stops are all within 200 meters, with shops and all sorts of restaurants nearby. Budapest’s best-known pastry shop is right outside the building. Inside, it’s a small place that works well for two, and you can tell they’ve put thought into making guests comfortable. The king-size bed is a real plus, and the bathroom has a window and a large shower. A few more bathroom shelves would’ve been useful. After a day walking around Budapest, though, it’s comfortable enough to relax in. The bedroom TV has satellite channels. The apartment looks out over the inner courtyard. That blocks the view from the other side, but it also means a quiet night. To get there, you enter from one of Budapest’s most central squares, cross a small courtyard, and take the lift to the fifth floor. Don’t be put off by the lift or the door facing the balcony, that’s the way into the apartment.

The location is fantastic, though the service is basic. It’s a compact apartment with a kitchenette, a fairly spacious bathroom, and a separate room.

Lovely place, and the service was excellent.

Vaci is just a stone’s throw away, and the location is perfect.
