Ensana Thermal Margaret Island Hotel

The place is quiet, the view is great, and the room was spotless with everything working properly. Staff were polite and helpful, and the spa was clean and well maintained. It did get a little crowded there, but that was understandable given the facilities. One thing that could be improved is smoking access. I appreciate the care for non-smokers, but having to go outside the hotel is inconvenient. A reasonable option for smokers on each floor would be nice.

We picked this hotel in Hungary for the thermal spa, and it was just the relaxing stay we wanted. After a day exploring, coming back to somewhere quiet and comfortable was lovely. It’s a little far from both the airport and city center, though getting around is easy with Bolt or a car. The staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. We’ll remember the stay fondly. ❤️

The massages by Dóra, Alexa, and Andrea were a real highlight. Their care and technique made each one deeply relaxing. The wellness area was well kept, and the reception staff there were helpful and professional. We also loved the varied restaurant selection. Every meal was fresh, well prepared, and enjoyable. At arrival, receptionist Péter made us feel welcome right away, handled our requests kindly and professionally, and made check-in easy. The hotel was comfortable and well organized, and our stay at the Thermal Margaret Hotel in Budapest exceeded what we expected. We’d gladly come back and recommend it to anyone after relaxation and good service.

I really enjoyed my stay, and thanks again for the hospitality. A couple of things could use attention. One elevator was out for about two days. It didn’t bother me much, but it made getting around harder for older guests. I also missed having fresh fruit and vegetables at breakfast. They didn’t seem especially fresh or tasty, and a juicy apple or sweet plum is essential to a good breakfast for me. The spa lost its peaceful feel on some days because groups who weren’t staying at the hotel made it noisy. I was also uncomfortable seeing outside visitors go straight from the sauna into the cold plunge without showering first. Clearer rules or more supervision could help keep the water clean. I’ll definitely be back with my mom. :)
