Right beside the Hungarian Parliament building, this lovely place is run by a very kind older couple. We felt very welcome and understood. The rooms are fully furnished, and there’s a full kitchen in the unit, shared with another tenant. It’s a great fit for travelers who like to be independent.

The Bottkas are very friendly and helpful, and the location is fantastic, just a two-minute walk from the majestic Parliament building. It’s central for seeing the city and beyond. The building is beautiful, with a quaint elevator, and the self-serve kitchen has everything you need. It felt like a home away from home. So far, the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Europe, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable room for two.

We had a really great time at Garibaldi 5. Ena and her husband were lovely and agreed to add another bed to our room, even though we’d already booked for 10 people. Ena also speaks French. The location is perfect and the price is reasonable. I recommend staying here.

Getting around was easy because the apartment is so close to Parliament, and it’s a great spot for seeing the city at night. The apartment itself is old, but the owner was really kind and helpful.

The location near Parliament is hard to beat, and the price was good. Staying in a Soviet-era apartment was a pretty unusual experience.
