Hotel Gin is in a nice area, very close to public transport, and both the room and lobby have a modern, well-designed look. We had a good stay. Our only issue was that shower-only rooms weren't available, so we had to take a room with both a shower and tub. As you'd expect, water splashed out because there was nothing to contain it. If you don't plan to use the tub, I'd recommend getting a shower room.

A lovely atmosphere and a great location. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and nicely designed. Bigger towels would be a small touch that added to the sense of luxury.

The breakfast is served at a nice rooftop bar in another hotel about 200m away. The food was good, though the portions were unfortunately very small. At the hotel itself, the modern rooms are spacious and well laid out, with room to put clothes away. The shower was nice but the water could have been warmer. Flushing the toilet sends water over the lid and onto the floor because of the pressure. It's unpleasant, though not a deal breaker.

The receptionist was really nice, and the rooms were tastefully designed. There's a lift, and the TV has Netflix and YouTube. I enjoyed my stay a lot. It was my birthday in Budapest, and my Hyatt Explorist membership came in handy: they provided champagne and breakfast. I always enjoy staying with Hyatt when I can, and I'll stay at Gin again when I'm back in Budapest.

Staff were warm, professional, and attentive from check-in through departure, and breakfast had a fresh, varied selection. The hotel is near the city center and major sights, yet the area was peaceful and quiet. Hotel Gin Budapest has a sleek, modern look with thoughtful details that felt cozy. Our immaculate room had smart lighting, a luxurious bathroom, and such a comfortable bed we didn't want to leave. Even the subtle, calming hallway scent added to the relaxing atmosphere. A lovely choice for a romantic city break, or for solo travelers who like style and comfort. Highly recommended.
