We loved this place. It's in the middle of a valley surrounded by mountains, with a huge, peaceful lakeshore nearby, and the whole area feels enchanted. No wonder people come here to hike and stroll. The restaurant and hotel sit right in the heart of it. The place was super clean and elegant without being flashy, and the views and atmosphere were amazing. The waiter crew were warm, friendly, and professional. We had a fantastic local Vargánya-Soup and Local FishMeal ( Pisztráng), both magnificent. Petra

Beautiful hotel, incredible food, and lovely views over the lake while you eat. If you happen to visit at the right time, the frozen waterfall outside the hotel is breathtaking.

Our waitress Erika was fantastic, friendly, helpful, and prompt. Dinner was well priced with good portions, so we came back for lunch two days later. Highly recommend.

We came from Australia to visit family in Hungary and spent two nights at Hotel Tokert. It was delightful. The hotel has been lovingly restored and has lots of character and elegance. Our room was spacious, beautifully styled, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We ate at the restaurant several times, and the service was exceptional. The food was incredible, especially the wild boar lasagne, one of the best meals I've ever had. Breakfast was generous, with traditional Hungarian dishes and western options. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and offered helpful suggestions for things to see and do nearby. We wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel and restaurant are set opposite the lake in a beautiful spot, almost like a fairytale. There are walking trails close by and lots of interesting local attractions. We absolutely loved our time in Lillafured and highly recommend staying here.
