We're staying here as a couple with five children. The hotel is spacious and inviting, but there's no room service or basic cleaning supplies like mops and rags. We cook and eat a lot in the room and have no way to clean up, which has been a real nightmare. I wish they would consider larger families and provide basic supplies. The cleaners are very, very nervous and not pleasant. I didn't want their help, just the cleaning supplies. What's more, the toilets aren't disinfected, which is a shame.

The room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel felt pleasant and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Staff greeted me with a smile, were courteous and professional throughout, and were always available to answer questions or help. I was especially impressed by the service: they suggested restaurants and local attractions and helped book tickets for tours and sights. They did everything they could to make my vacation go smoothly. I highly recommend the Golan Hotel to anyone wanting a good place to stay in Budapest. The comfortable rooms, cozy atmosphere, courteous service, and fair price make it a great choice.

A very good place in a great location, with beautiful, spacious rooms in the Jewish Quarter. The price is very reasonable, and strictly kosher food is available.

We spent a little over NT$20,000 for five days, and the setup made that feel worthwhile. The 40-square-meter room had a separate living room, dining area, and kitchen, so we could cook for ourselves instead of paying for breakfast. There are three chain supermarkets close by, too. Parking in the basement is free. We also walked both sides of the Danube from the hotel. A full circuit took around 18,000 steps and four to five hours, enough walking to cover what many people would spread across a three-day itinerary.

The Golan Hotel felt comfortable and pleasant, and the whole stay was a special experience for me. I paid for meals, which were generous and had an uncommon taste. I didn’t feel anything was missing. It suited Shabbat observance and people who keep strictly kosher. I’m already looking forward to the spa and pool opening in 2024. Highly recommended, simply perfect.
