Karoly Apartments

We had a great stay. The place was warm, really clean, and had all the modern conveniences. It’s easy to get to the main sights, with the Danube and ruin bars within walking distance. Buses and trams are just a couple of minutes away, and the airport bus stop is a five-minute walk, with buses running every 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

The breakfast basket left outside the room was a real plus, with fresh food and a good variety. The room was nice and the service friendly. The entrance door took a little finding, and there was traffic noise, though that’s to be expected downtown. Everything is very close by, and our experience was very good.

The location could hardly be better, with most of the city’s attractions within walking distance. At Karoly corner, we had a spacious, cozy room, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom with a large hydro-massage tub. The balcony was a great extra.

The staff were all polite and respectful, and groceries, food, and public transport are easy to reach on foot. The location is perfect. I even peeked into other rooms, which looked modern and like the ones on booking.com, but the room I got was a bit old. Room # 6 had no sound insulation, which was the downside. The staff kindly offered me earbuds, but they barely helped. For this price, maybe the hotel was better. I’d look at other places in a similar price range. If you’re feeling ambitious, you could even walk to the fisher man's.
