Leo Boutique Rooms - Adults Only

Dorka was so kind and helpful, and we really enjoyed our time at the hotel in Budapest. The rooms were clean, with complimentary water and coffee, and we liked the hotel's design. It's right in the center of this beautiful city, in an excellent location.

I was very disappointed with how the hotel handled my prepaid one-night stay. My plans changed, so I called on arrival day to ask about moving the date. I understood they wouldn't cancel or reschedule at such short notice, but what shocked me was how unwilling they were to help. Since I'd already paid, I asked if they could simply change the guest name so a friend could use the room. The hotel said that because I booked through Booking.com, they couldn't make any changes and I should contact the site. Booking.com customer service told me there was no such policy on their end and the hotel could change the guest name if it chose to. When I called the hotel again, the receptionist said her manager refused all changes, even letting someone else use the prepaid room. To me, that was unreasonable and completely inflexible. I asked for the manager to call so we could find a solution, but after three days I still hadn't heard from them. The receptionist was kind and polite, but was only following the manager's rules. Refusing a simple name change for a room already paid in full is incredibly poor service, especially when there are no legal or regulatory reasons for it. It felt like a lack of willingness to help, and like they were trying to cheat a guest. I would NOT recommend this hotel because of its rigid, unhelpful management.

The hotel's central location made most sights an easy walk away. We had trouble finding our rooms at first, since they were in a side wing on the third floor, but a staff member showed us the way. Everyone was kind and helpful. Our rooms were clean, with complimentary water and coffee, and we liked the hotel's design. We had a very pleasant stay in Budapest and enjoyed our time at the hotel.

Cafés and supermarkets are right around the corner, and the hotel is right in the center. We loved staying at Leo Boutique. It's beautiful, stylish, and super comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home. Totally recommend it!
