This was the worst apartment we’ve ever booked. The photos on booking.com looked great, but the place didn’t look anything like them. It was really dirty, with hair and human matter, and clearly not cared for. We left the next day to find somewhere else. I couldn’t find the exact apartment to review, but it was part of the Little Americas chain, California Wines. I’d strongly recommend staying away and saving yourself the money and hassle.

We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and some green tea, a really lovely touch. Self check-in was easy, the instructions were clear, and the hosts messaged to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything. Honestly, self check-in is the way to go. My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Little Colorado apartment. The balcony was a big plus, with a beautiful view over Rákóczi Ut while having tea or coffee in the morning. The apartment was nicely furnished and arranged, with everything we needed, including a kettle, coffee machine, toaster, microwave, and washing machine. We hadn’t thought much about the washing machine when we booked, but it turned out to be incredibly useful. It’s in the heart of Budapest’s 7th district, right in the middle of everything. Shops, bars, public transport, souvenir shops, and a tobacco shop are all nearby, with the most famous ruin bar just around the corner.
