The location was excellent, but we were disappointed with the stay. The moment we entered the building there was a moldy smell. We later learned it came from air conditioners that clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The sheets smelled strongly like a wet dog, like damp clothes left in a washing machine until they get moldy, and we felt itchy lying in the beds. The rooms were much too small, and the radiators didn’t work. Upstairs was unbearably hot, with a ceiling so low that a woman of average height couldn’t stand straight. Downstairs was cold, and the air conditioner faced the upstairs beds, so it couldn’t warm the lower level. The bathroom was tiny, moldy, and unpleasant too. Even the plastic parts and the soap in the dispenser looked worrying. Check-in was only possible after 3 p.m., and we still ended up waiting two more hours because the staff couldn’t get the password lock working. Most of the staff didn’t speak English. We only briefly saw one Asian man at checkout who did. We weren’t expecting a five-star hotel, but even at a fair price, the lack of hygiene was hard to accept. The rooms could be lovely with the right management.

We were four friends staying in the middle of November, and the temperature in the apartment was just right. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s also in a great spot for walking to lots of attractions, and public transport is well connected if you need it. Plenty of praise for this accommodation.
The receptionist made our stay at Loft House especially memorable. He welcomed us warmly on arrival and was always around to help with questions or requests. His city tips for places to visit and eat were really useful. At checkout, he even took care of our luggage so we could spend more time exploring before leaving. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with a good bed and clear attention to detail. The staff take real care of the rooms. With that kind of service and a comfortable place to stay, Loft House stands out. I’d love to come back and enjoy that hospitality again.
The staff at reception were especially polite and helpful, and the rooms were clean and pleasant. The AC was much appreciated in the summer heat. It’s close to both the metro and bus station, though it’s also right by a busy road and a well-known nightclub, so it can be noisy at night.
A great base for seeing the city and getting a taste of the nightlife. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was clean.
