Maverick City Lodge

The hostel has a cozy feel, very clean rooms, and a big common area for hanging out and chatting. They apparently put on events now and then, and we played games, which made it more fun. Hanni and the rest of the staff were really friendly and helpful. I’m glad I met such nice people there. Definitely recommended.

There’s plenty of room and a relaxed, uncrowded feel. The rooms are comfortable, the beds are very good with sockets beside them, and the lockers are large enough for a suitcase. Bathrooms are spacious, and the common areas are a real plus. The staff were especially helpful, friendly, and patient. Ksenia was outstanding and helped me enormously, even with packing and sending a package after I’d checked out. That kind of care says a lot. I’d definitely stay again.

The hostel has a great atmosphere, and the staff are efficient and friendly. Alejandro, the manager, has a team that’s always ready to do their best. Rooms and common areas are clean, with constant cleaning; the kitchen is large and well equipped, and the bathrooms are very clean. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable and private, and the air conditioning is good. The bar and restaurant aren’t managed by the hostel. Breakfast there is very expensive, low quality, and has little variety, and the bar gets 0/10 from me. Even so, I recommend the hostel 100%.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I loved my stay at Maverick Budapest Soho. The beds have curtains that close all the way, so you feel tucked into a little cave. I slept better there than at the hotel I’d stayed in before. I used the laundry service and got my clothes back within a few hours. Absolutely recommend it! ✨
