The owner was very helpful, giving us city maps, pointing out places to see, and explaining the best public transport options. After checkout, he also let us leave our bags at the hostel for a few hours, so we didn't have to carry them around. Our private double room was amazing, with a huge wardrobe, a very comfortable bed, and beautiful decor. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel, and the bathroom was just as clean and well appointed as a hotel bathroom.

Clean facilities and worth every penny. The owner is friendly and genuinely kind, and shared lots of useful travel tips, just like other commenters mentioned. When they noticed we'd accidentally left some belongings behind, they followed up with us. Best hostel I've ever stayed at.

The hostel added something special to our trip. We liked the first night so much that we booked two extra nights. It's a small place, but that makes it nice for meeting people. The dorms have colourful curtains that give you plenty of privacy, and the well-designed space was extremely clean and organised. The kitchen had all the basics, including coffee, tea, sugar, oil and salt. There are two toilets and two bathrooms with sinks and showers or bathtubs. The owner was sweet and available. On arrival, he showed us around and pointed out nearby services, including the metro station, a five-minute walk away, and a shop. He also gave us useful tips for visiting Budapest's main sights and baths, and getting started around the city. The centre is about a 15-minute walk away, but District VII's nearby streets are worth exploring for cafés, ruin bars and restaurants. Szimpla Kert is the best known of the ruin bars. Thanks to Gabriel and all the staff for making our stay better.

For my first hostel stay, this was pretty good, and I'll probably come back. It's central, close to Keleti train station, the M2 and M4, trams 4 and 6, and lots of bus stops. The rooms are neat, the bathrooms are great, and the receptionist is very professional. You get a lot of privacy for a hostel, which I really appreciate, and the WiFi is very good. I really do like this place.

Probably the best budget accommodation you can find in Budapest. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the place is very clean, with the shared spaces cleaned daily. The kitchen is fully equipped, and they even provide free coffee and tea.
