MgTels Apartman

The friendly staff made this a lovely place to stay. It looks out onto a garden, and there’s a small balcony too. Inside, it’s comfortable, with a separate bedroom and living room, plus a new kitchen stocked with everything you need.

Really good apartment right in the city center.

The building has a restaurant with good Hungarian food, and apartment guests get a 40% discount. There’s also parking in a fenced lot about five minutes away, with a ramp at the entrance. Transport links to Pest seemed excellent to me. I walked everywhere, though. Bartok Boulevard, one of Buda’s busiest areas, is under a ten-minute walk away, and it took me around 30 minutes of interesting walking to reach the bridges. The apartment itself is tidy and renovated, with a well-equipped kitchen that’s set up for a longer stay. There’s a comfortable double bed that’s a little smaller than standard, and a pull-out bed in the living room. The spacious bathroom has a shower cabin and coffee machine, and the toilet is separate. I’d recommend the place, especially with those extras.

It’s easy to reach the city center by public transport, and there’s a supermarket just across the road. The host was very helpful, and the apartment itself is comfortable and well equipped. The place doesn’t make the best first impression, though, and finding a street parking spot can be tricky.
