Milford Suites Budapest

Our first hotel canceled on us, so we had to book this place in a hurry. It worked out well: the staff were friendly, the rooms had plenty of space, and the place was clean and well located. The rates were affordable too. I really liked staying here!

It’s a decent place for the money, in a somewhat quieter part of town. It’s definitely not modern, and some of the facilities are dated. The bathroom lamp is easy to bump your head on, the lights are much too strong, and breakfast has a rather limited selection of cold items. Still, with a few small improvements, they could compete with five-star places. I’d come back.

The hotel is on a quiet street near the castle area in Buda, with a bus, metro, and tram about three minutes away. The rooms are fairly spacious, the double bed was fine, and the kitchen was well equipped. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable, though, and the bathroom had some odd features, including a distorted mirror and water that was hard to adjust. The breakfast room is tiny, and the cold food was low quality. The room could use some refurbishing.

We really enjoyed our stay in these lovely, roomy, clean, and quiet apartments. The location was just right, and everyone at reception was very helpful. Breakfast was tasty, and waking up to the smell of croissants each morning was a treat. I’d highly recommend Milford Suites apartments.
