Next Hostel Budapest

For three months during my Erasmus program, I stayed in the West End section of Next Apart. The central spot, right in the middle of the market, is convenient for public transport. The kitchen is very small, though, and cleanliness was really poor. When people don't keep things tidy, dishes can pile up by the sink. That happened at first during my stay, but we somehow got it under control. For the price and location, it's quite good. I can't say I regret staying there, and overall I'd call it a good place.

We stayed just one night before finding a hotel, because the experience was so bad. This is a hostel for people with limited resources, not a student environment. The room, kitchen and bathroom were all very dirty and unsanitary. In my view, it doesn't meet health and safety standards.
