The staff, who are students too, were really kind and helpful. The hostel itself is a student hostel that also takes tourists in summer. It’s very dirty and very old. There are no bathroom doors, and seeing many guys shower completely naked was very disturbing.

I was really disappointed by the bathroom’s lack of cleanliness during my recent stay at [pannonia hostel]. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly, which I found unacceptable. After that experience, I won’t stay here again.

The place is well outside the city centre and there was no cleaning. The sheets were dirty, with hairs and stains, and the so-called kitchen felt more like a sarcophagus. The staff showed no courtesy or kindness. For what it offers, it may be too expensive.

A good spot for young backpackers. The staff are welcoming and kind, and their English is good. They also serve cold, refreshing drinks, which really hit the spot in hot weather.
