Pannónia Vendégház

We only stayed one of the two nights we paid for. I regret not turning around when we first saw the apartment, but we felt bad about leaving the poor lady, so we paid for both nights anyway. The landlord herself is nice, but the dirt was overwhelming: it smelled bad, there was mold, cobwebs everywhere, and dust piled up that looked 20 years old. My wife ended up sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing the bathtub and toilet. I understand the lady is old and may not be able to clean, but she should hire someone who can. It’s called retro, but it really needs renovation. Maybe it would suit a workers’ hostel, but only people with very few expectations should stay here.
