Parliament Penthouse Boutique B&B

The apartment's location was the best part. The room felt as if the previous guest had just left, and it wasn't clean enough. The towels didn't smell properly washed, more like they had only been rinsed with water and no detergent. Water drained slowly from the bathtub, and the ceiling was covered in yellow spots. Breakfast was just enough.

The location is amazing, and the terrace is a perfect place to watch both sunset and sunrise. There was a hot tub in the room and the breakfast was good. I'd definitely stay again.

The spot is amazing, right by the Danube and the parliament building, with most places only about a 10-15-minute walk away. There's a lovely cafe below the apartment. The studio was a good size, and the kitchen was okay, but the bed was two single beds pushed together, so I had to keep pushing them back together each morning. The room was very dirty and covered in dust. The TV reception was fuzzy every time, no matter how often I retuned it. These are self-catering apartments, not a B&B as advertised, and there's no breakfast, free or otherwise. We paid 50 euros extra for a 5pm checkout that we'd agreed on, but at 10am someone knocked and said we had to leave because other customers were coming. Then, one minute and 30 euros later, we were allowed to stay until 5pm. I still don't know where the supposed incoming guests were. I wouldn't stay here again.

The neighborhood is pretty quiet and the location is great, and the price was fair. Self check-in and checkout are convenient, but with no staff around, communication is a bit harder and the little details feel neglected. The place looks better in the photos, and could be cozier and tidier. There's also an ugly construction site alongside it, which isn't their fault, but it unfortunately affects the view from the rooms.
