I’d booked months ahead and paid half the cost, but they declined all my cards when it was time to pay the balance for our one-night stay. Then, without warning, they gave the room to someone else. This happened a week before we were due to arrive. I wouldn’t have known the reservation was cancelled if I hadn’t emailed to ask about payment.

I left after just a few hours because I felt the apartment was a health and safety hazard. The bathroom was filthy, with grime, suspicious stains, and exposed electrical wiring. Old food was crusted in the microwave, the coffee machine was disgusting, and the whole place smelled nauseating. The host denied the evidence and was dishonest rather than giving a refund. Don’t risk your health or money here.

The friendly management and the location are the only reasons for the two stars. Everything else was dirty and disgusting, especially the coffeemaker and armchair. Sorry, but visitors need decent conditions to leave a good review.

The bathroom wasn’t clean, and the room looked either dirty or very old. It also didn’t look like the photos. As soon as I plugged in the heater, it started sparking. I don’t understand whether the Booking.com sale, €64 instead of €300, is some kind of trap. Is it a joke? If I’d paid €300 for this, I would’ve destroyed the owner.

For that price, I honestly didn’t mind that the room could make you feel like you’re in a third-world country. The guys working there were really kind and helpful, and I slept much better than I do at hostels. Having a private bathroom was lovely.
