Prestige Hotel Budapest

The staff were kind and helpful throughout, always ready to answer questions and make our stay easier. We had a lovely few days at the Prestige Hotel, and I'd consider staying there again. The bed was comfortable, and after a full day of travel it was nice to find complimentary water and chocolate waiting for us. There was a coffee machine in the room for coffee or tea, and tea was available downstairs in the lobby too. We didn't try breakfast or the hotel restaurant, so I can't comment on those. The wellness area is quite small, though that wasn't a major issue since the hotel doesn't market itself as a spa hotel. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you're after a proper wellness holiday. It has one sauna, a hot tub and a few exercise machines. We were usually there on our own, and I can't imagine more than six people fitting in at once. During our three-night stay, the hot tub always had a strange smell. Maybe that's because we used it at night, but I think it could be cleaner. There were also a few visible stains on carpets around the hotel and on the decorative cushions in the rooms. I know replacing them can be expensive, but they take away from the hotel's elegant feel.

The breakfast had a modest selection, but there was plenty to choose from and more than enough for us. Staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything. It's a beautiful, spotless hotel with gorgeous rooms, on a street near the river and close to transport. We'd happily stay again if we return to Budapest.

We had a really positive stay at the Prestige Hotel. The location was hard to beat, and the rooms were lovely with everything we needed. Breakfast had a wide range of food. Our flight got in early, so we arrived well before check-in, and were delighted to hear the room was already ready. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful.

We booked a suite for our honeymoon, and the hotel arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport. Everything from that ride to the room made for an amazing stay. The room was gorgeous, the bed and pillows were wonderful, and it had two air conditioners, which we especially loved as Americans. The staff were kind and helpful. The location was perfect, and we never had trouble getting an Uber from the hotel. We'd absolutely stay here again if we visit Budapest.
