I’d give the room 3/5 and the restaurant 1/5. The rooms were clean, had kitchens, and the air conditioning worked really well. The bathroom felt dated, though, and the shower head couldn’t be adjusted, which was inconvenient, especially for taller guests. I’d avoid eating at the restaurant. The staff weren’t rude, but they seemed unprofessional. I saw kitchen staff in jogging pants, and one server touched their hair before bringing out food without washing their hands. I find that unacceptable. The rooms made for a decent stay, but I wouldn’t recommend dining there.

The reception area looks beautiful, but my room was in terrible condition. It smelled bad and was dirty, with stains on the lamp and doors. The floor was buckled too. The air conditioner was the only good thing.

I found this hotel when the city was full and the big hotels were charging exorbitant prices for their last rooms. It’s a little outside the center, but still easy to reach by bus. The rooms are like small apartments and were all fine. They serve breakfast and lunch downstairs, and there’s a small Spar shop next door.

Everything I needed was in the room, and the apartment was really nice and affordable. The team made me feel welcome from the start. When I asked a question, for example about a late checkout, they handled it quickly, and I didn’t even have to pay extra. Spar, Lidl, a park, and a church are all a few minutes away on foot. It’s in Budapest’s 14th district. I can definitely recommend the apartment and team, 5/5.

I stayed for almost 10 days over New Year. It was comfortable and affordable, and public transport nearby goes to all the main places.
