RingAvenue Apartments

For five nights in August 2014, this apartment made a fantastic base for our Budapest trip. Getting around was easy and cheap: the tram 4-6 stop is across the road, and Metro M2, M3 and M4 are nearby. There’s a McDonald's and several shops close by, plus a Tesco about a 10-minute walk toward Kalvin ter. The central location also means the airport transfer takes just 20 minutes. András made us feel welcome and was very helpful. He loves Budapest and has great tips on places to visit. The building was clean and well maintained, and the apartment had everything we expected for budget accommodation. The kitchen is small but practical, with an oven and hob, plenty of cupboard space, a sink and a good-sized fridge. There’s lots of seating in the main room, with a sofa, table and chairs, standalone seats and two single beds. The bedroom is small but fits a double bed and has tons of storage. The modern, clean bathroom has a fantastic shower and a washing machine. The WiFi came in handy for downloading Google Maps directions for walking and public transport while we explored or headed out to eat. Great central accommodation for the price.
