The location is fantastic for public transport. There’s a tram and bus stop right outside, and it took me about eight minutes to walk to the M rail for the airport shuttle. A convenience store and pastry shop are next door, with several coffee shops nearby. Inside, the place was immaculate, with no dust, crumbs, or hair. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water and strong pressure, and there was closet and shelf space, lots of lighting options, and full-length mirrors. The owner was considerate and quick to respond. Knowing the drawbacks now, I’d still stay again. The courtyard looks charming, but at 1 a.m. you can hear people dragging suitcases over the cobblestones, talking, banging doors, and taking out the trash bins. The windows are single-pane, so you hear everything. There’s no balcony, and although there’s a washer, I couldn’t find a dryer or anywhere to hang clothes. The unit also had no smart TV or English channels, so I watched Netflix on my tablet. The quirky setup made sense once I watched the owner’s instructional video, and check-in was easy. The Moroccan Suite is upstairs, along a narrow hallway. My carry-on suitcase and large travel bag fit through fine, but anything bigger might be a problem. The ground-floor suites looked as if they might be larger and better for oversized luggage. I was a bit disappointed to have to carry a regular key for the front door despite all the electronic entry codes. It felt dated, and I can’t imagine the hassle if I’d lost it.

Parking is the main drawback: finding a spot can be difficult, and it’s expensive. Otherwise, the place is clean, tidy, and stylish, with the main sights within walking distance and public transport nearby. We liked the three different design concepts for the studios, though we only got to see two, and both looked fantastic. Kata was a great host, and communication plus check-in and checkout were straightforward. It’s a cozy place right in town, and I’d come back and recommend it to friends.

The host was lovely, and the location was just right. I’d stay here again ☺️

A secure, really nice place for a short stay.

Right in the centre, this is a perfect base for a visit to Budapest.
