VÁCI Fashion Street Apartment

Huge cockroaches came out every night in the bathroom and kitchen/living room of the apartment we rented. It was extremely dirty, and everything was in poor condition. They said check-in was only until 20:00, even though Booking offered other options. When we arrived, we had no check-in instructions and the owner’s phone was off. We called for more than 20 minutes before she answered and explained which apartment we’d booked. They don’t take card or bank payments, but then a man knocked on the door as if we were criminals. Don’t book this place just because of the good location.

The room was tiny, like a matchbox, and nothing like the photos. The owners were very rude and only took cash, with non-refundable bookings for such a horrible place. They also didn’t mention the construction next door. The drilling was deafening. I had a migraine all morning, my friend became really nauseous, and the owners refused to refund us. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed.

We stayed in 210 premium and personally loved it. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well stocked, the staff were helpful, the location was fantastic, and the price was superb. It did get extremely hot even with the radiators off, and the view from the windows was a letdown. Still, we booked a cost-effective family apartment, not the Ritz, and we’d happily stay again. Reviews across different sites vary a lot.

The rooms were dirty and smelly, and not fit to rent. The host was rude, aggressive, unprofessional, and uneducated. I can’t understand how Booking works with them. Stay away. I’d give zero stars if I could.
