Bukfurdo's private rentals tend to be small and fairly standard, but the low prices reflect that. I'd suggest this place to people looking for a cheap stay and not expecting anything fancy. We booked Miklós Molnár apartments, at Nefelejcs u. 5, based on the reviews. From 19-22.10. 2021, my wife and I shared the ground floor flat called "APARTMENT I." with a friend, his wife, and their son. The flat-roofed house has two apartments: a northern 1+1 unit with two beds, and a southern 1.5+kk unit with two beds and a fold-out sofa as an extra bed. The heating was the biggest problem. The north apartment stayed cold while the south one was overheated, and there was no way to adjust it. The beds also have heavy chipboard headboards with sharp edges and corners. Since the rooms are cramped, we both bumped into them and got bruises. The owners should fix this. The fridge in the northern apartment was very noisy and seemed near the end of its life, waking us up. Towels weren't set out in either apartment; we got them only after asking. There's no microwave. Mr. Molnár had said he'd meet us, but we waited 20 minutes after arriving because he wasn't there. When we left, he came to move us out 20 minutes before the agreed time. That cost a star too. There were good points as well: the mattresses and soft pillows were comfortable, and the outdoor blinds made the rooms properly dark at night. The place was clean and had dishes, a coffee dripper, towels, and an outdoor clothes dryer. The shared bathroom and toilet worked well and had liquid soap, a hairdryer, toilet paper, and deodorant. The overall setup was basic for its class, but functional and comfortable. It's on the ground floor, easy to reach, and close to the spa entrance, in a quiet area with pleasant nature around it. Despite the unsafe headboards and fixed heating, our stay was relatively fine. The weather could leave you at the mercy of the heating, but for the price and quality I'd consider it acceptable and recommend it. We paid €15 per bed per night, or €75 per house per night for five people. Good luck with your holiday or health stay in Bukfurdo.

The apartments are nicely furnished and equipped. The thermal baths are a 10-minute walk away, and Cszarda is 200 m away, with top-notch food.
