Radisson Sas Birdland Resort & Spa

We were amazed by how much there was to do for both children and adults at the Greenfield hotel. It works well for little kids and older ones too, and the spa has to be one of the biggest rooms I’ve seen. We spent a Valentin Spa weekend there and would go back anytime!

The spa was disappointing. There are plenty of facilities, but some basic details let it down: doors don’t close properly, so spaces get drafty, and rooms struggle to hold their temperature with people coming and going. The infrared sauna was dusty, too. At this level, details like that matter. We liked the friendly, helpful staff, and cleanliness was good. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, though they didn’t quite feel up to what I’d expect at a four-star resort. Half-board meals were solid, but the on-site à la carte restaurant was below average. We also couldn’t use the spa on checkout day, which felt unnecessarily restrictive and out of step with four-star expectations. Along with the other small limitations, it left me feeling nickel-and-dimed instead of properly hosted.

The huge spa and wicked slide made for a fun, relaxing family vacation. My 6 year old twin boys had the time of their lives and are already asking to come back. The hotel has been recently refurbished in a modern style, the staff were very polite, and the chefs were amazing. What more could you want?

The spa was relaxing, and there are lots of things to do, including bowling and billiards. I’d especially point out that the dartboard is sisal. This hotel was a good choice for our family vacation, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinner.
