Csipkeház Apartman

The owner was really helpful, and the accommodation itself was clean, tidy, and nicely put together. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I came away with lovely handicrafts as souvenirs for my family. At the museum, we got a detailed introduction and a bit of history, then I saw beautiful tablecloths, clothes, and accessories. The crafts were impressive, and I also got to watch lace being made. I can definitely recommend a visit!

The place was spotless, but that didn't make up for the problems we had. The advertised jacuzzi wasn't there, and it mattered a lot to us. We'd spoken to the host on the phone twice, but only found out after arriving, when we'd already paid for the accommodation in advance. The bed was made so badly that I slept on the floor for both nights. My partner slept in the middle of the bed, where it was a bit more bearable. When we brought this up with the lady at checkout, she didn't seem pleased, but those are the facts.

The host was warm, straightforward, and very welcoming. We booked a family apartment and got a proper apartment, beautifully renovated, spacious, and comfortable for all of us. The living room was roomy, and there were some games for the kids, which they liked. The kitchenette had lots of equipment: a portable hotplate, coffee maker, kettle, and microwave, plus a fridge in one of the rooms. Each room had its own bathroom. It's in a quiet spot a few minutes' walk from the bath, and we could use the courtyard facilities and covered terrace for breakfast or dinner, which felt very homey. There's also a well-equipped dining room where you can request catering. There are plenty of other options around, but this place is worth seeing in person. We'll definitely return. Thank you!
