Ezüst Boróka Apartman

The quiet garden-suburb setting was a real plus, with the center still nearby. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment looked just like the photos, and the hosts had clearly put care into all the little touches: coffee and tea, a toaster, cold water in the fridge, even salt, sugar, honey, and a Kubu for our little girl. It’s lovely and tastefully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen. We’ve stayed in lots of places, but never left this satisfied. If we come back to Eger, we’ll stay here again. I recommend it with all my heart!

We stayed three nights while hiking the KÉK trail, and this was a relaxing base after a day out. Szarvaskő, Bélapátfalva, Szilvásvárad, Sirok, Parád, Parádsasvár and Kékes are all within reach, with plenty of natural and historic sights around. In Eger, the Szépasszony Valley, Dobó Square, Eger Castle and the Minaret are nearby, and local public transport is good too. The place is new and stylish, mixing modern and vintage details. Our bedroom had a TV and a really comfortable bed, and the kitchen was fully equipped. There’s a shower in the bathroom. The owner lives on site, and the apartments are separated on the mezzanine. Gated parking fits about 2-3 cars. There’s a Kisapartman for 2+1 guests, with one bedroom and a dining-living room, and a Nagyaparman for 4+2 with the same layout. It suited us as hikers and seems best for couples or people looking to socialize and unwind. I wouldn’t choose it for a party. I’d happily recommend it to anyone who likes vintage style and a quiet break.

The hosts were so kind, and the accommodation felt high quality. It’s in a peaceful spot close to both the city center and the Szépasszony Valley.
