The owner was very nice and helpful, and the location is great, just a few minutes from the historic castle and center. The apartment felt a bit outdated, but it worked well enough for a night with friends.

Quiet and comfortable, and I’d happily recommend it.

The shower curtains were in terrible shape, and the rooms were dirty. We even found a mouse trap in ours. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, and the photos on Booking.com don’t give an accurate impression.

The host was kind, and there’s parking inside a closed courtyard. The city center and the castle entrance are only a few minutes away on foot.

Everything essential is within a few minutes’ walk, since the accommodation is centrally located in Eger, near the castle. You can park in the courtyard, though the space is a little tight. Getting out onto the often busy road would be easier with someone helping. It’s an average place with acceptable compromises.
