We felt very welcome, and the host even gave us a gift. He was ready and waiting when we arrived, then shared some background on the sights and directions for exploring the city. The shared kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d warmly recommend it to anyone.

We could easily explore the city on foot from this well-located place. It was peaceful, quiet, and family-friendly, with a cosy, clean room and parking on site. The host was lovely and gave us an information pack with a map and brochure, and even told us a bit about the city’s history.

The view from the parking lot is lovely, with the Basilica and Esztergom opening up in front of you. Getting there takes a little nerve in the final turns, which are on a narrow, steep, winding road. Once there, the accommodation is quiet and peaceful despite being right in the middle of Esztergom. There’s a kitchen and refrigerator, and the host is happy to share interesting things about the city and local sights, plus lend guests maps. The Danube bank and Basilica are both about a 10-15 minute walk away.

The owner is so helpful and makes you feel welcome. It’s great value, too, and I’d happily come back next time, whether on my own, with family, or with friends. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the kitchen is well equipped, and there’s a lovely garden. The place is peaceful and has a beautiful panorama.
