Bambara Hotel Premium

The hotel itself is the main attraction, since there isn't much to do nearby. There's a narrow gauge railway and forest hiking, but in Hungary's context I didn't find those particularly special. Also, people who'd rather avoid young children may want to know that families with babies and small kids make up a large part of the guests. Still, this has to be the most beautiful hotel in Hungary. I came for one night for a business event and knew nothing about the place beforehand, including its African theme. Walking in was a surprise. I'm half African, so I could judge the tasteful design, and I was struck by a level of quality and attention to detail I hadn't seen before in Hungary. I've stayed at Hungarian five star hotels that didn't reach Bambara's standard. The design is impressive throughout, from the colors and materials to the fixtures and all the small touches. The staff were kind and capable, the food was amazing, and the wellness area felt different from the usual, with its cave pool and shower huts. It's very geared toward families with little children. There are live meerkats and kangaroos, a garden maze, and the biggest, most elaborate playground I've seen. It even has "cypher towers" where kids can learn basic encryption by sending coded messages to one another.
