The staff were nice, and the place is near the lake, but you can find better value nearby. The rooms were in an 80s style, with old furniture and poor upkeep. There were spiders, webs, and insects everywhere, especially on the balconies and below the rooftop. The sheets were clean, but nearly everything else was dated, and the price was far too high for the condition. I only stayed because I had an emergency and no other choice.

We stayed for three nights and plan to come back next year :) The staff were welcoming and helpful, the food was good with plenty of options, and guests who rent a room can use the wellness area for free when the weather is bad. There's private access to the shore of Lake Balaton, and a nearby beach that's free to use. The place caters to people travelling alone, couples, and families, and is accessible for elderly and disabled guests. The Wi-Fi seemed nonexistent, though. Bigger shops and restaurants are a bit far away, so I'd recommend having a car or bike.
