The wellness centre was lovely, and I really enjoyed the sauna and steam room. I’d stay again if the WiFi gets better. It didn’t work at all in my room, so I couldn’t work or make calls, and I got a better signal in the car park. Breakfast was very basic with little choice, and could use a few pastries. My room had two single beds pushed together, but only one had a single duvet, so I couldn’t spread out. It was still comfortable, though.

The hotel and reception were nice, but the room service, especially the hygiene from the staff, was a major problem. Sorry, guys, but it was a terrible experience for me.

The sauna area costs about 12 euros per person, which is a great price. I was lucky to be the only one using it during my stay, so I got to enjoy the privacy and, in that case, a bit of luxury. There’s a steam room, Finnish and infrared saunas, an ice corner, bucket shower, changing facilities, and more. The place is clean, in an excellent location, and just a three-minute walk from the train or bus station. The staff were very helpful and polite, and I can recommend the hotel.

A great base for hiking, with the bus station nearby for easy trips to the Matra or Eger, and Budapest is just 80 minutes away. There’s free parking and good restaurants in the hotel. The rooms are big, with connecting ones available if needed, and the service is kind. The sauna area is compact but perfect. Book your massage in advance :-)

The rooms are modern and clean, and wellness is included. Really good service and good value.
