Hotel Domus Collis

The room was spacious and comfortable, with what we needed to unwind after a day out. The hotel’s location near the river is handy, and it’s about a five-minute walk to the main square, so nearby attractions were easy for us to reach. Breakfast was the weak point. We came down at 9:25 and almost everything was gone, with no effort from the staff to refill it. The choices should be improved, and food should remain available until 10:00 A.M. I’d also prefer checkout at noon instead of 10:00 A.M. for a more relaxed morning. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. Hotel Domus Collis has good qualities, but those changes would improve the stay.

I only stayed one night, which is my regret, and I’m looking forward to returning. The hotel was recently refurbished, so the rooms still have that new smell. There are also plenty of useful amenities for a longer visit, which you don’t come across often. It’s a wonderful, comfortable place right in the historic centre, among the nicest places I’ve stayed.

The front desk team were friendly and helpful, and everything was very clean. Our suite felt superb, with lots of space and a modern style. The large windows and very high ceilings gave it extra elegance, and we had a great view of the square and the river. It’s a beautiful, stylish place in a charming town, and the air conditioning worked great.

We couldn’t relax because a loud concert was going on outside. Then the hotel complained about the noise we made walking across the hall to shower, even though we had to use another room because ours had no hot water. It was inconvenient and uncomfortable to be sent elsewhere just to shower. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
