We had a great stay, and the host and the whole place felt very welcoming. The enclosed yard meant our dog and car were safe, and we liked being able to park there. The bed was extremely comfortable, the price was good for the small place we booked, and it had what we needed for a few days away. We also watched our own Netflix shows on the TV, and there’s a grill in the yard for good weather. The quiet, dog-friendly setting was a big reason we chose it. A few small things could make it feel even more like home: another pot and a regular-sized frying pan for cooking, a little cooking oil like the sugar and salt provided, two smaller extra pillows, and a mop with floor cleaner. A power strip or two would help with all our gadgets, since I had to choose between plugging in a lamp and a charger. Brighter bulbs in the kitchen and bathroom would also be handy for morning and evening.

Everything is just a few minutes away on foot, and check-in and check-out were very flexible. It was quiet and comfortable, with excellent value for money.

A generous buffet breakfast was served at the nearby hotel. The little apartment was very nice, fairly priced, and had everything we needed.

We spent a few days in this well-equipped little apartment right in central Gyula. It’s pet-friendly, and the owner was kind and fair. The apartment is quite good, though it could use some renovation.
