The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the place is basically nice. Getting started was confusing, though, since nobody is at reception. For check-in and check-out you need to call the number at the entrance. The receptionist speaks only Hungarian, and WiFi doesn't reach every room. Cleanliness is okay but could be better. Breakfast is very basic, picked up at reception and eaten in your room.

The garden is lovely and peaceful, and the apartments are beautiful. Staff were helpful and nice. Recommended!

Everything was good, though we did have to wait about 30 minutes for the owner to arrive at the house.

I was there in February-March 2019. It's well located near a shop and a pizzeria, but the upkeep is poor. The place was very dirty and dusty, and every room had ceiling leaks. In my first room there was a hole in the shower tray. When I asked for a repair, they filled it with plastic plugs. It seems the tray had been punctured for a long time, and the owner didn't care. That room was also cold, with drafts coming through the huge panoramic windows. Every room had big greasy marks on the headboards. The faucets were loose, and the mattresses, blankets and pillows all had stains. The terrace decking was still torn, as I'd seen mentioned in other reviews. There were lots of ants, and half the light bulbs were missing or burned out. Maybe the owner doesn't care because Hatvan has few options.
