The owner couldn't provide the accommodation we had originally booked, saying previous guests had caused damage, so we ended up at this other place. He said he operated both properties. We arrived around 4 pm after calling ahead, and during that conversation he told us the substitute accommodation was all he could offer. We then gave him our expected arrival time. It wasn't suitable for us, and we accepted only because there was no other option. Although the listing on szallas.hu called it baby-friendly, they couldn't provide a baby bath after we asked in advance. The yard was unkempt, with long grass, and the website photos didn't show the place as it was. Nobody mentioned mowing the lawn. On the first night, dozens of ants appeared on the bedside table. While dealing with them, we found a thick layer of dirt under the raised beds, with spiders crawling there. We reported this the next day, and the owner sent a cleaner. She said the vacuum wasn't working well and tried to mop beneath the beds instead, which was never going to get the dirt out. There was almost no liquid soap in the plastic pump container when we arrived, and for three nights we were given only one roll of toilet paper. When we brought this up, the response was that she would ask the cleaner whether she had really left that much. There wasn't any extra toilet paper in the closet. We didn't eat in the room, and wouldn't have wanted to, because the rag rugs were dirty. Other problems: no bathroom heating, poor ventilation since the window only opens a crack, a toilet seat that doesn't fit the bowl, a hairdryer that overheats and stops after a few minutes, dirty stained walls, no bedside lamp, and loose sockets coming out of the wall. This isn't somewhere I'd want to stay even for free, and it definitely isn't baby-friendly. In reply to the host's response, several things said there are fundamentally untrue. I did make a mistake calling the liquid soap container a soap dish, but the container was nearly empty. The hairdryer is the only issue I can't prove with photos. I can document the other things, including the condition of the rooms. My rating disappeared from szallas.hu, so I'm not surprised the average is 9.7. Anyone interested can look at the uploaded photos and judge for themselves whether that cleanliness rating is deserved. The host hasn't refuted the other points: the photos don't reflect the current condition, there's dirt and spiders under the beds, the toilet seat doesn't fit, the rugs are dirty, the walls are stained, the sockets are loose, and there is no bedside lamp. I can't prove my side completely, but I still have some accommodation photos that Google doesn't seem to show with the listing. I'm happy to share them somehow if anyone wants to see them. People can decide for themselves who is telling the truth and whether they'd want to stay here.

We had a fantastic few days and felt right at home. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I recommend it to everyone!

We booked a place and weren’t given the accommodation. The owner even whistled at us. It felt like we’d been scammed. Accommodation.hu shouldn’t keep advertising it.
