Lv Vay Villa Hotel

The new rooms look great, and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast had enough options to get the day started, though I would have liked more kinds of cereal or maybe some prepared fruit. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the city center, so we didn’t need to drive in and pay for parking. One personal gripe: the curtains aren’t blackout, so I woke up early from the light each day unless I wore a mask. It would also be nice to have different shower heads, since the current one sprays water quite hard against the skin. Apart from that, I had a great time and would definitely come back.

It feels like staying in a noble villa, and my room was spacious and cozy. Mine even had a bathtub, which I love. Breakfast was good, served by a friendly older gentleman in uniform, which was really cool. The staff were very friendly too. A great little hotel, recommended!

The staff were very kind, the rooms spacious, and the location was great. It’s kid-friendly too. The one thing that spoiled the stay for me was the bed. The mattresses felt scratchy, and they were covered with a small flat sheet instead of a fitted one. By the middle of the night, the mattress was exposed and really uncomfortable. I liked everything else about the hotel, but that made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

We were there with family, but moved out after 45 minutes and found another hotel. The hotel and room smelled terrible, and there was a dead bird on our window. When we told the staff at 7pm, they said nobody was available to deal with it then. They refused to refund us, saying we had already occupied the room. Very lame of them.
