We came to Nyiregyháza for a wedding and had booked a double bed room a month in advance. At check-in, we were given a room with two separate beds. After a frustrating back-and-forth, we did manage to get a double bed room. When we returned, though, there were seven persistent moths in the room. They upset my girlfriend so much that she had a panic attack. We asked the owner for help, but no solution was offered. With no other option, we ended up spending the night in our car. We don't intend to return and can't recommend the place.

The location and price are the only reasons I gave a second star. The receptionist insisted on cash, saying card payment wasn't possible, and we didn't get a receipt. It seemed to me she just didn't want to handle the transaction. The room was dusty except for the beds, the reading lamps didn't work, the body wash was empty, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a while, and some furniture was close to falling apart. Her attitude was the biggest issue. We were a group of eight and stayed up in the common room, where playing is allowed only until 10. She didn't raise it with us during the night, but complained about us in the morning and made rude comments. The hospitality was unacceptable.

A quiet spot, about 400 meters from the town center and 1.5 km from the railway station. There’s a kitchen with a microwave, the staff are wonderful, and the prices are very good.
