Boutique Hotel Sopianae

We found the breakfast especially good, with plenty of choices and delicious hot croissants each morning. The hotel is also conveniently close to the city centre, and the staff were professional and helpful. There’s parking beside the hotel, though it costs extra and isn’t part of the room price.

I keep coming back, and it’s always a pleasure. The price feels fair, the rooms are clean and nice, and breakfast is very good. Everyone’s hospitable and helpful, and the location is handy, only a short walk from the centre. Parking can be arranged for an extra charge. See you next time!

The breakfast was the big surprise. It was included, and we expected something basic for the price, but it was delicious and everything was thoughtfully taken care of. Even though we were among the last people before breakfast ended, the person in charge came out with a tray of hot croissants and said, “the last people are the same as the first.” Everything was still being replenished, even with just 15 minutes left. At many hotels, even resorts, the last guests just get leftovers. Thanks to everyone who works there. We were in Pecs for a weekend and struggling to find a place, but the hotel offered us a room for one person and set up an extra bed so my girlfriend and I could sleep there. We paid less than we would have for a double room in a hostel. Looking at the prices, it seemed cheaper too, though booking directly with the hotel worked out better than using apps. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge, TV, and great heating. The bed was comfortable, and all the staff we met were kind and respectful. This hotel gave me what I always hope for from a hotel.

Right in the city centre, this small hotel makes it easy to get to know the area. Our room was tidy and clean, and the place felt friendly. I’d certainly recommend staying here if you’re visiting this fine city.
