The wellness facilities were a highlight for us, especially the steam sauna. We also had fun at the bowling tavern, and the tennis courts gave us another way to stay active. My family and I had a lovely stay overall. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the service was excellent. It was a relaxing visit, and we’d happily recommend it.

Breakfast stood out, with lots of fresh choices and one of the best hotel spreads I’ve come across. We also found the rooms spacious and spotless, with excellent bathrooms. The wellness area is beautifully laid out and roomy enough to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, saunas, and more. A great place for a weekend of relaxing and recharging.

Set on a quiet side street outside the center, the hotel itself is nice, but there were signs of neglect. Some corridor lights didn’t come on, leaving you to find your way in the dark, the minibar fridge had been removed, and the bathroom soap holder was broken off. I didn’t notice any cleaning during my stay. My room was very large and nicely furnished, though it felt gloomy.

The room was in no condition for the price. There was dirty laundry left behind, which made me doubt how thoroughly it had been cleaned, and the bathtub was old and stained enough to need replacing. I expected basic cleanliness and comfort, but was far from getting either. I won’t return.

The food was delicious and there was plenty of it, and all the staff were helpful, especially the lovely woman in the restaurant. We enjoyed the clean pool, excellent sauna and hot tub, and the clean, well equipped room. It could have used a drying rack for swimwear, though. The gym was available, but pretty basic and too warm.
