The place felt neglected and could use much more work. We won't come back. We wanted a quiet break, but woke to the owner calling because he had left his key at home and needed us to let people into the garden. Before we arrived, an email said workers would come between 9 and 10 to install solar panels. The next day, another email said they weren't coming, but that people from NAV were. On the first morning of our stay, we woke to a phone call asking us to let municipal inspectors in because the owner had forgotten his key. After we let them in, they came into the house too while my partner was still in pajamas. We complained and asked for compensation, but the owner's response was rude and dismissive. Never again.

The view is stunning, and I could have looked at it all day. I’d recommend the area for that alone, though getting there by car can be tricky in places, so I’m less sure about the location itself. Inside, the dirt really spoiled the mood, and the older issues people mentioned are still there. The kettle is the one exception, since guests are expected to use vinegar or lemon juice in it. The upstairs stairs are noisy, and the parquet floor is badly laid. It was also hard to darken the room because neither the curtains nor the blinds worked very well. And I don’t think a picture of a naked woman opposite the bed is suitable for a place recommended for couples.

We left happy and would come back. The house has been renovated with a lot of taste, feels elegant, and I loved the enclosed terrace, the view, and the fairytale-like fireplace area. Having two bathrooms was handy. There are a few things that could be better, though: there was mold, and the boiler couldn’t fill the tub even halfway when I wanted a bath. I was also cold, as the air conditioning seems to leave the walls and floors chilly, though my partner wasn’t bothered, so maybe I’m just more sensitive to the cold. I hit my head hard on the wall by the stairs, which seems dangerous, though I should have paid more attention too. For that much money I expected the worst, so I was pleasantly surprised.

We had a wonderful time and will definitely return. Adrienn was available for anything we needed, and everything else was just right for our family of three children during our two-night stay. The little garden was lovely, and the view was beautiful. There were so many places to eat, both inside and outside, including the terraces, garden, and kitchen. The accommodation met all our needs. My only reason for giving four stars is the downstairs bathroom, which needs renovating because water leaks from the shower tray. Thanks for the experience!
